It’s a new year…Happy New Year!!!
Before the dawn of the new year and ALL the resolutions to follow, we did a thing. That thing was a photoshoot, with Business Woman & Blogger, Kimberly Knight, of The Lux BlogNC. She asked if I wanted to participate in a photoshoot for a blog post she was writing about a staycation, right in my hometown of Durham, NC. In addition, a few bow ties from Natty Neckware, would make a cameo appearance. Of course, I couldn’t say no, so I said, YES!!! Not to mention this was all being captured by one of my favorite photographers (and friends), Alexandria Anderson, of AfroCurl Photography. The evening called for some drinks, a swanky venue (The Unscripted Hotel) and some pretty awesome people, so, I was in. The pictures alone are worth a thousand words.
